Margaret Dabbs is a doctor and has developed a medical protocol for the safest, most effective manicures and pedicures around!

All products used are medical grade, and we don’t use any unbranded lotions and serums!

With a truly amazing range of treatments and products that have low irritability, antiinflammatory and anti-fungal – each product is formulated to work effectively on the skin to treat common hand and feet conditions.

We look at each manicure or pedicure, not as a service but as a treatment that will obtain maximum results!

All our technicians have undergone intensive training with the Margaret Dabbs team to ensure the best results!

DOES NOT SOAKING THE HAND MEAN IT IS MORE OF AN EXPRESS TREATMENT?

No, not at all! Quite the opposite –Our manicure/pedicure treatment is a comprehensive procedure and is in fact, safer, more luxurious and more effective, due to the protocols being developed by a doctor! We treat the hand dry, to ensure we can see more clearly and remove dry skin, without damaging healthy skin, which can cause more harm to them in the future!

We do offer a supreme option that involves a soak, but the treatment phase (of nail and cuticles) are dry in both Standard and Supreme.

REASONS WHY WE DO A DRY MANICURE?

• POLISH LASTS LONGER

When you soak your nails, they absorb water and expand. If our technicians were to then paint the nails, while they were still semi-swollen from the water, the nails would then contract back once they dry, and this can lead to chipping. Not soaking the nails ensures that the manicure lasts longer.

• REDUCES CUTICLE ISSUES

The typical soaking plumps your cuticles during the manicure, making it more difficult to notice dry skin around your cuticles that may need to be trimmed. Lotion instead of water, also keeps your nails and cuticles clean and dry, to better protect your nail beds, for overall healthy nails.

• HYGENIC!

Dry is also more hygienic, as we use only sterilized products on closed pores!

SO, HOW IS SUPREME DIFFERENT?

The Supreme is a more spa like, luxurious treatment that gives your hands and feet that little extra bit of pampering, as well as addressing very dry, cracked skin! The total treatment time is 1hr 15min, but the treatment phase, is still dry!

MARGARET DABBS SUPREME PEDICURE

This is the ultimate pedicure! This pedicure starts off dry so that nails and hard skin can be treated effectively with MD pedicure protocol and nail and cuticle serum. The nails and cuticle work are performed, and the nails are treated with intense treatment oil (nails will be gleaming). Hard/dry skin is filed with a special file using crushed crystal technology. The feet are then treated to an exfoliating mousse containing volcanic pumice and tea tree oil. The feet are then soaked giving you time to unwind with a cup of tea/coffee! You can then enjoy an extensive leg and foot massage with the wonderful intensive moisturising properties of the foot lotion.Nails are then painted with a polish of your choice.

Result: It’s like walking on clouds!!!

MARGARET DABBS SUPREME MANICURE

The signature manicure provides noticeable results after just one treatment. The creams and serums used are extremely hydrating and nourishing for both skin and nails. The scent of geranium and mandarin are soothing and relaxing.

Nails and cuticles are treated, worked and shaped before the skin is exfoliated. An intensive hand lotion (a must for any handbag), is used to perform an extensive arm and hand massage. Finally, a colour of choice from our wide range completes your time out!
